What We Do

Since 1947 the Col. Frederick Hambright Family has meet on the weekend closest to the celebration at the Kings Mountain National Park. This is either the first or second weekend in October as the battle took place October 7th. For many years we have met at Macedonia Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. This reunion has brought many Hambright cousins together from all over the United States. You can always visit here and select “Special Events” on the Kings Mountain National Military Park website. Our Mission

Our mission with the reunion is to bring known and unknown Hambright cousins together to celebrate our American heritage. We are on a constant mission to find out more correct and verified information about the entire family. We share family stories and information on the genealogy of the families.
