The 77th Reunion of Col Frederick Hambright Family met Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Saturday of October 7th coincided with the festivities and Wreath Laying at the Kings Mountain National Battleground. We had 81 folks attending including children. This is the largest attendance we have had in the last few years. We enjoyed a great catered meal from Carolina Crossings restaurant, and great fellowship. We had 2 attendees from Arizona. Our oldest family member to attend was Eudora Anne Ratcliffe who will be 90 in December. Our youngest were twins Davis and Drew Benson. We voted to meet again next year on Saturday October 5th. The facilities at Bethlehem Baptist were great, so we plan on meeting there again. On the www. ColFrederickhambright.org website I will be posting pictures from the reunion and adding the approved minutes for 2022. The site was significantly updated this year. There is a new Genealogy site that was created using the information from the old site. This Tree information is fairly accurate. If you wish to add to the Tree, there is information on how to submit this on the site. If you have additions, please send them so we can update the tree. Living folks will be identified with last name and “Living”. There have been quite a few deaths since we last updated the Tree, so please send the information so we can update. The cemetery looked great after all of the work that was put in getting it up to speed. We have additional plans on ways to keep it in the condition that is needed. If you were unable to make it this year, we hope to see you next year. I am hoping for 100 next year. Put October 5th on your calendar!!
